About FM Solutions
FM Solutions, PLLC was established in 2003 by Sara Cowherd and Wendy Henley. The core team came together in 1998 within an architectural firm, under Sara’s direction. As corporations began outsourcing real estate and facility management departments, we recognized a real need for project management teams with those skills.

Sara L. Cowherd, CID
President
Sara was born in Charlottesville and grew up in Richmond. She graduated Cum Laude from VCU with a BFA in Interior Design. Sara’s experience in the industry spans 24 years. She has managed projects and project teams for some of the most prestigious corporations in the region. She has been a Board Member of the Richmond Chapter of IFMA for 6 years, serving as Membership Chair, Vice President and President. Sara is an avid collector of famous quotations and enjoys Pilates, books, laughter (especially at her two cats, Thunder and Faith) and anything U2.

Wendy D. Henley, CID
Principal
Wendy is a Richmond native, and has managed projects in Virginia for 23 years. She earned a BS in Housing, Interior Design and Resource Management from Virginia Tech. Wendy is a member of the Richmond chapter of NAWBO, and serves on the board of directors at the North Richmond YMCA. In her free time Wendy enjoys traveling, tennis, and community service. She still wants to enjoy golf, but that remains a distant goal.

Debbie Tuck
Project Manager
Debbie is a native of Chester, Virginia and has been with FM Solutions since Day 1. With over 20 years of professional experience, Debbie’s background in real estate, project accounting and customer service prepared her well for Facilities and Project Management. She is affectionately known around the office as our “Process Queen.” Outside of the office Debbie enjoys being a Girl Scout Leader and gardening. Although Debbie doesn’t believe her yard reflects her love of gardening, we beg to differ.
